Future Firewall/Network Configuration

Hi guys

By September/December I can have both, but one by September. I was hoping for these two configurations done, let me know which appliance I should get from a security standpoint.

NBN Modem > XG106W (Fullguard Plus) > Forcepoint NGFW 110 (Non-Wifi) >TP-Link Archer (Segregated Public AP)

                   >Fortinet FortiWiFi 30E (Secure AP)

The Forcepoint with NSS standing of 95-99% effective against evasions or the Fortinet FortiWiFi that is a wips ap/Wireless Firewall.

The forcepoint appliance is what I want first, but from a threat standpoint which should I go with first and is the above configuration correct?

Cheers Blush

  • Why do you think you need all those layers of security, two firewalls in tandem? What are you guarding against?

  • Well basic security, there just toys, I just St want to experience different vendors, like for firewalls I love the Sophos UI, but forcepoint is known by NSS as the best, I wanted watchguard wips but Fortinet is more advanced, and would be a while new UI to play with Slight smile
