Sophos XG (SFVH - SFOS 18.0.4 MR-4 / AP Firmware 11.0.014) does not work anymore

Hi there,

since I installed SFOS 18.0.4 MR-4 and AP Firmware 11.0.014 I realised that my roaming / fast transitioning does not work anymore.

I am using two access points:

- AP55

- AP100

Both have 6 SSIDs (5 and 2.4 GHz, but only one frequency for each SSID) and only 4 out of 6 SSIDs are the same on both of them - so no AP group.

Does anyone have an idea why roaming / fast transitioning is not working?

My WiFi devices:

- iPhone 12 Pro Max

- iPad Pro (2020)

- MacBook Pro 13 (2020 - Apple Silicon)

- Samsung S20 Plus

    Hi,

    I have started couple of posts on a similar subject. The DEVs advise there is nothing wrong, but like you the APs do not work correctly.

    I am hoping V18.0.5 MR-5 will come with a new AP firmware version to address the issues.

    I hope that solve the problem, too.

    On the other hand it is really a deal breaker in the first place.

    Do you know if it started with the new version of SFOS or AP Firmware?
