Apologies if this has been asked before
I have a qotom hardware with 4 Intel NICs running on Intel Celeron J1900 processor. I was running OPNSense on it for many months and wanted to try out the XG Home edition version 18.0.1-396. I tried to install it with both UEFI and Legacy boot and could only boot it with Legacy Boot option.
Post the boot, after 2-3 minutes, it just hangs and I can't ping 172.16.16.16 and no response on the VGA console. What should I do to fix this issue
Following is the CPU details (installed Ubuntu 18.04 recently)

In that case yes it does XG home ed counts logical cores as its cores....... So dual core with HT will show as 4 cores in XG
Also I3-1100 is quad core with HT so 8 threads / logical cores, however you…
I know this is a rather old post so I'm commenting for future reference, in case anyone else has the same processor.I've been using a similar machine with J1900 and 8GB of RAM for about one year now, while I can confirm the interface is indeed slow, unless you need a very responsive interface for testing or whatever, it shouldn't be a problem.I get around 30 Mbps in download and 15 in upload, and there's no difference in those speed between using and not using Sophos XG. I've also changed IPS search-method to hyperscan.Since you have trouble booting, make sure you have enough disk space and at least 4GB of ram, and Sophos XG was fully installed (in case trying formatting and reinstall XG again). Also try checking if cables are connected correctly (Port 2 for WAN and 1 for LAN) and that your pc has an IP in the 172.16.16.1/24 range
