You could skip this. But each time, you will change this AD Server, it will again come up. The better approach would be to delete the old AD and retry it in CM.

So my assumption that it is safe to skip is right, it looks like this is the only issue.

AD Server cannot be created with the same IP. so if you try to create another ad server with a different namen but the same target IP (AD server), it will fail. Thats basically what CM is telling you.

It is exactly the same server, only the name is configured differently. So AD, same IP, same user-name, same domain, just the name (inside XG) is different. It was added to XG before we created the group in Central.

Is your current AD Server with the same name, also a AD Server? Or perhaps a LDAP?
