XG firewall with v18.0.4-MR4 white page on Sophos Central

In my Central account I have 5 firewalls.  The two I have upgraded to MR4 will present an all white page when trying to manage the firewalls.  They previously connected fine.

One of the other firewalls is on V18.0.3-MR3 and works normally.

Locally I can manage both firewalls.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

  • Hi John,

when you login into Central are you offered a window to select the firewalls and does it show all your managed firewalls?

  • Hi John,

There is one issue found in v18.0.4-MR4 that if login disclaimer is enabled on the XG Firewall, we can't access it through Sophos Central.

Workaround: Disable login disclaimer in the XG Firewall and verify.

  • Hi Ian,

Yes I can see all the managed firewalls and everything looks normal.  When I try to manage one a page is opened and is blank (all white).  In the same Central account a firewall on 18.0.3-MR3 and one on 17.5.10 MR-10 both work normally.  Both 18.0.4-MR4 firewalls have the same issue.

I am not sure that this happened after the MR4 upgrade, but it seems the common factor.

    Thanks for your assistance.

    John

  • Hi John,

Did you get a chance to review workaround suggest in my previous reply?

  • Hi AdcTech,

That was the issue and common on the two firewalls that were not working.  I can connect through central again.

    Thanks for the assistance.
