Does XG site to site IPsec VPN support Nat traversal

I don't see the option on the Sophos XG to enable Nat traversal on a site to site VPN using IPsec, where one side will be behind a router doing NAT

Is this enabled by default, or just not supported.

  • Good day,

I have the same question.  I have a XG135. It seems one of my service providers are blocking the normal protocols for IPSEC.

    Please help.

  • Hi Bernard,

I had the same issue recently, and found that VPN services are considered by some ISPs to be business applications (and the do not support business on consumer Internet connections). I got around it by using SSLVPN (they also think that VoIP is business and block this as well ... lol - got around this too).

XG & UTM Architect (Systems: XG v18 & UTM 9.7 - Virtual, HW & SW)
Curious enough to take it apart, skilled enough to put it back together, Clever enough to hide the extra parts when I'm Done!
