Sophos Secure Workspace (Android) - Corporate browser

You can configure the Corporate Browser feature under the Sophos Container Policy. Sophs Mobile> Configure > Profiles,policies > Android > Add Configuration > Corporate Browser.

thank you for your quick answer and suggestions, I understand that this could be use to setup shotcuts to public websites.

But we'd like to use the corporate browser to access the company's intranet.

To be able to browse intranet sites the routing within the network must be adjusted accordingly to allow devices to connect to those pages via the Internet.
The Corporate Browser can use a client certificate for authentication at e.g. a firewall/reverse proxy. These certificates can be deployed using a "Sophos container policyand the "SCEPoption. Let me know if this helps resolve your query.

that's quite unfortunate, we won't publish our company intranet to the internet neither via reverse proxy nor any other way.

I was think about setting up some sort of App VPN in Android, like it's possible in iOS. But I ran into the problem, that I can't manage Android Apps which are not Android Work Apps.

Any thoughts on this matter?
