How to set the MDM-URL in the SMC?

Hi,

can anyone tell me, how to configure the url in the smc with my company url? after the installation of the smc on an iphone device, the app asks the first time for the url of the company mdm-server.

    Hi Markus,

    there are several ways to configure the SMC url within the iOS app.

    1. The user enters the URL of your SMC server manually.

    2. The user executes the task "Activate Sophos Mobile Control app" via the Self Service Portal. Please make sure that this task is activated in your Self Service Portal settings

    3. You use the "Activate iOS SMC app" button within the device details of the iOS device. If you choose this option, this has to be done for every iOS device. It is planned to change this for version 3.5, but this is not confirmed yet.
