MDM Enrollment Profile?

Is it possible to create a profile for enrollment into SMC?

I currently use Apple Configurator to prep iPads then manually install SMC through SSP which is time consuming and requires me to recall a device to head office to connect to a mac if it ever needs rebuilding, or an IOS update etc.

I am now testing a third party solution GroundControl which performas the same functionality as Apple Configurator but runs on Windows and can be run in more than one location unlike Apple Configurator

It seems to work well, bu tstill requires me to manually enroll each device into SMC which is a drag

GroundControl claims to integrate with several market leading MDMs but unfortunately not Sophos (is that something on the horizon?)

There is an option to enroll using a configuration profile but I see no way of creating an enrollment profile for SMC

Is anyone able to offer any help?

    I already use these profiles to deliver configuration settings to my devices during the initial enrollment process.

    My question is whether I can create a profile to initiate the enrolment process?

    Ground Control gives me an option to upload a profile for MDM enrolment but I have no idea how to create this profile or even if its possible.
    In an ideal world I would like to completely automate the process rather than having to instruct an end user on how to use the SSP, as there are quite a few steps and potential for mistakes
