Suspicious Wi-Fi connection detected

The Intercept X app on my android phone keeps giving me the notification "Suspicious Wi-Fi connection detected".  When I tap on it, it takes me to Network details where I see "SSL interception detected".

I've rebooted my router.  Also, I've disconnected my phone from the WiFi network, tapped "Forget", and then reconnected twice.  But, I still keep getting the same notification.

What do I need to do to find out what the problem is?

  • Same here. Started having this problem yesterday afternoon on several company devices (all android so far). They are connected to various WIFIs, corporate networks which we know are secure, and some private networks.

We tested the suggestion to reinstall Intercept X, which seems to work for now. But it's a pain to reinstall and configure the app on about 100 phones, so, Sophos, please fix this bug quickly. Slight smile Slight smile
