Hello,
How can i assign an iOS App to a device persistent, even the device gets unenrolled?

Hi David,
Thanks for reaching out to the Sophos Community Forum.
When you are installing an app on an iOS device from Sophos Mobile that is not enrolled via DEP/ABM, the user will need to approve the request when you send the installation task.
When testing this, I proceeded to install an app, then unenrolled the device from Sophos Mobile, and the app remained installed.
Could you provide some additional context on the way your devices are managed/set up currently?

Hi Kushal,
Thank you for your feedback. The devices are enrolled from ABM to Sophos Mobile. I want to ensure that a specific iOS application remains on the device, even the device gets removed from Sophos Mobile. What is the best way to unenroll a device from sophos mobile?
regards,
David
I found the following note in some of our older documentation, I believe this remains true in the current version of Sophos Mobile managed from Sophos Central.
If you need the apps to remain on the mobile devices after unenrollment, I'd suggest proceeding with device enrollment, as opposed to using Apple Business Manager.
