Hello, i was just wondering if this is possible yet to show custom text onto an IOS lock screen?
it would be ideal if organisations can utilise this function using sophos Mobile, it has been possible with Intune and Airwatch for a number of years.
ideal to have lost devices find the way back home to the organisation.
it can be done by Apple configurator i know but we use DEP for all our iOS devices.

Looking into the configuration options for iOS devices in Sophos Mobile, the "Wallpaper" option may be what you're looking for.
This allows you to upload an image that will be used as the wallpaper on the mobile device, you can also choose for this to be applied to the lock screen, home screen, or both.
Another option that is available is to remotely "Lock" the mobile device in question. When you open the device entry and select "Actions > Lock" this will prompt you to define a lock screen message that will be displayed as well as a phone number, this also allows you to re-define the pin applied to the device.
