Another question i'd like to ask is regarding the Work Profile. Since its a BYOD model, the owner of the mobile device will have their own Google account for their mail and PlayStore needs.

How are the apps deployed into the Work Profile container? Do I need to create an Android managed Play Store account? I don't see a lot of info on this in the documentations

Thanks for your response. As you can see from the documentation (screen shot below), is why I got confused as both policies seem to have the same capabilities

I will do some testing on my end on both the Android Enterprise and Work profile enrolments

Work profile management is suitable for BYOD scenarios as it can only monitor and manage settings, apps, and data within the work profile. While as on Android Enterprise fully managed device, It can montior and manager all setting, apps and data. You can configure the device enrollment for Android Enterprise as per your requirements. Please check out this document for configuring Android Enterprise devices.
