Change of "Interal EAS-Proxy" worked in System-Seetings/Webinterface, but not in SMC-Health-Check-Tool

Hi;

SMC Server version: 5.1.3 (rev 3921)

We have changed the URL of our internal EAS-Proxy; Connection-check succesful.

Server completly rebootet...

But when I now run the "SMC Health check tool", it tests the old EAS-Proxy-URL ?!

    Hi Marchscheede,

    I'd suggest trying to run the SMC installer again and skip through the steps until you get to the configuration of the EAS proxy, and enter the updated URL there.

    Hi Marc,

    I had a look at the reported behavior and can confirm that the Health Check tool is not working properly regarding the EAS URL.

    It seems as if it is using an old way to verify the URL which was valid for SMC 4. However, it doesn't work anymore for SMC 5.

    I will forward this to the responsible developer to get that fixed in a next version. In the meantime, you can also have a look at your EAS Proxy log in the SMC log folder to verify the configured exchange URL. In there, you should find an entry like this:

    setting config "config.eas.exchangeUrl" to "mail.smc.sophos.de/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync"

    This shows you the mail server URL the EAS Proxy is currently using.

    Yes, I´ve checked the EAS Proxy log and "config.eas.exchangeUrl" was changed/set to the new/wanted URL; so it´s only a problem of the health-check-tool...
