We want to use Sophos Wireless in combination with Sophos Mobile and Sophos XDR (or the Sophos Mobile App with Heartbeat) as advertiseden-USTelligent Community 12https://community.sophos.com/thread/548859?ContentTypeID=1Wed, 20 Nov 2024 16:07:13 GMT4be5eb7d-caa4-4ff5-8e60-8f9463545a35:2c18236b-2462-420d-8757-9c295bf18f45LuCar Toni<p>Synchronized Security has two different approaches.&nbsp;</p> <p>Sync-Sec with Mobile</p> <p>Sync-Sec with Endpoint.</p> <p>Most customers do not mix &quot;iot&quot; with enterprise wireless (WPA Enterprise vs WPA Private).&nbsp;<br />This means, customers have an SSID for their Mobile device with Endpoint installed (WPA Enterprise + certificate), and SSID for their IOT, BYOD etc. (PSK)<br /><br />Sync-Sec with Mobile will look into devices based on the Mobile compliance status (Is the device up2date etc.).&nbsp;<br />Sync-Sec with Endpoint will look at the Heartbeat status.&nbsp;</p> <p>But most customers want to have the Endpoint status to be on the firewall instead. Therefore they do not use it on the Wireless level - They use it on the IOT level for Mobile, but turn it off for the devices on EP level, so the EP will connect and report their status.&nbsp;</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
