More details on

https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KBA-000002876?language=en_US#Linux

and https://docs.sophos.com/esg/spl/en-US/support/ServerProtectionAgentDistributionKernelSupport/index.html

In particular: CentOS 7, CentOS Stream 8, Debian 10, Oracle Linux 7, RHEL 7 and Ubuntu 18.04 have now been retired from support.

Other distributions may work, but problems may only be investigated/fixed if reproducible on a distribution from the supported list. In particular Sophos Protection for Linux requires systemd as the init system. Arch Linux appears to use systemd by default so that may be ok.

RE: Sophos Central support on Arch Linux

Hello, Warren Bondoc,
