We are a private company in the higher-ed space. In 2021, we acquired a company which was using Sophos Intercept X Advanced through a MSP. The license is soon to expire and we are looking to reduce the license count. The MSP is no longer in the picture. We reach out to Sophos to renew and reduce the plan.
In order to process the request and provide quotes, we are asked to register as a reseller as part of Sophos Reseller Program. Is this normal as we only want a customer account and not a reseller account for ourselves?
