Problem with AD Sync and custom users/groups

Hi all,

we have a problem creating custom users/Groups in our PureMessage System. After I click on 'create custom users and Groups for ...' simply Nothing happens. The application does Freeze for some 30 seconds and thats all. Another Problem is that AD sync ist working. I can configure the AD Settings and click 'verfify settings' which results in a OK message but when I click sync now an error message apears at the end of the process saying'Synchronisation failed! Unexpected error.'

I think both Problems are related but I have no idea how to resolve this. (rebooted, checked certificates, debug logging (nothing to see)….

Does ayone have an idea how to resolve this?
