Is there a way to verify our downloads? MD5 checksums anywhere?
In reply to No No:
sure we have.

I try to get that in a nicer way into the post next time.
Hi, thanks for the release.
Is there a way to have a complete release notes against the last stable on each release? Otherwise we need to search the forums for the previous beta/rc releases.
A detailed pdf like in the last post about 16.05 RC1 ( https://community.sophos.com/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/46/Sophos-XG-Firewall-v16_5F00_5-RN_5F00_v3.2.pdf ) is also welcomed! :)
When will any of the XG releases be ready to install on a client SG device?
From my testing thus far (I have three tests cuncurrently going) its just a poor product.
Not trying to sledge but I am getting very worried here.
In reply to talex:
Just as a heads up for anyone using SSL VPN (Remote), I had to re-download the configuration for all my VPN users after upgrading. I know this was brought up in RC1, but doesn't appear to have been addressed. So anyone using alot of SSL VPN, I'd say use caution. And who knows, maybe this was just me on this upgrade? But not going to upgrade any others until I hear a little more on this and others have had success.
In reply to DMR188:
We are testing it in our DR site and so far with network rules only it seems to be working properly. We will be adding the user recognition today to see how that goes.
DMR188, Can you check if certificates are replaced on upgrade? For sure, that requires new sslvpn config file.
Where are the official release notes? Does it include the fix for NC-14468?
In reply to MarekDalke:
this is just a very small release to fix the most urgent issues mentioned in the announcement above. NC-14468 is not in the release.
Hi, sorry but are you sure that you just fixed 4 issues from 16.1.2 to 16.5?
In reply to MassimoForni:
The issues mentioned are between SF16.06.0 RC-1 and SF16.05.0 GA.
Thanks, but are those of RC1 based on another Beta?
That's why I asked for the full stable release notes and not a delta between a stable and a unstable release.
In the documentation section of the XG 16.5, the "Release notes" link points to a blog (https://community.sophos.com/products/xg-firewall/b/xg-blog) with the latest post created on the 6th of December...
Also I find it difficult that 16.5 does not have any known issue. Is there a page with the up-to-date known issue that you maintain?
FYI: here a known issue....
Anyone else verify this? I am not going to upgrade yet if this is the case...
