is there a roadmap for the XGs for the next major versions and the planned functions?
In reply to l0rdraiden:
For what it is worth, next 17.5.x is due by now ...
In reply to Big_Buck:
17.5 MR3 is released
MR4 is dev complete and currently being tested.
In reply to Michael Dunn:
Is there a feature/bug list for MR4?
In reply to Arie:
On this same post Hubert Christian wrote on 2019-2-1 that improvements are for backup only ...
"Then we expect another Maintenance Release in early March (MR4), with additional features like Encrypted Backups and Backup Management from Sophos Central."
Not much more news than that. It is stange how search engines finds nothing on SFOS. Search for any other suppliers are normaly more successfull. Cisco for example gives you millions of results ...
Agreed, but I'm still holding out hope that Sophos will provide a single overview of bugs/features and their planned release. In other words, a roadmap. At the moment that information is all over the place and probably incomplete.
Hurray - another tidbit about 17.5 MR4:
It does seem that the fix was not implemented on the previous MR. Your issue could be relavent for failed update from the logs on your system. We expect the fix in 17.5 MR-4 and it should be out by end of this month.
Could you provide us access to your machine by enabling Support Access and PM me the ID, so I may have a quick look and diagnose the issue?

25th of March and counting ... For those looking for a little thrill ...
Just to keep the thrill alive :)
Two days left, and we are in April ...
My guess is Monday.
In reply to LuCar Toni:
Oh !!! LuCar Toni has a very good sense of humor after all ...
So we will get the SFOS v17.5.4 MR-4 on April Fool's day ?
Now after midday, no sign of mr4.
In reply to rfcat_vk:
It's 8am in Denmark, we´re still opportunistic ;-)
In reply to twister5800:
Ok. That really was on the first of April.
The list of bugs fixes is particularly long and concern quite extensively mails and web filtering. Backups are being forced to have a password. I would have preferred and "opt-out" button.
Besides that, not much new functions.
Installed on XG105 and XG210. Haven't see anything wrong after few hours. But our setup is simple since we are not using anything related to mails (mail gateway is back with Symantec), we have a single VPN, an only a single business rules. Beware, milage may vary.
As far as I know.
~April 24, 2019 there is a large partner conference.
I presume that the event will include announcement, roadmaps, etc.
