Exchange Autodiscover not working when connected to Sophos SSL VPN

Hi All,

We recently had a database failure with our Microsoft Exchange Server.

The only way to get it back up and running is to restore each user accounts from backup and export the .PST files.

Because of this, we need to recreate all users' Outlook Profile.

This is not an issue if the users are in our Internal network. Recreating the Outlook profile in our internal network completed successfully.

However, for our Small remote offices in 2 other countries, they are running Sophos SSL VPN.

We are unable to recreate their Outlook profile as Outlook Autodiscover keeps failing to complete the setup when connected using Sophos SSL VPN.

The error message on Outlook is that "We are sorry we are unable to complete this process. Try setting this yourself."

Even if we manually configure using the Exchange ActiveSync settings, it shows an error: "Log onto Exchange ActiveSync mail server (EAS) could not locate the specified server"

However, our Exchange ActiveSync on our mobile devices works without any issue.

If anyone could shed a light or point me in the right direction, please.
