1. After updating my firmware from SFOS 17.5.3 MR-3 to SFOS 17.5.4 MR-4-1 my client can't connect using the captive portal.
2. I can't created new guest user. if the try creating a guest user the is the messaged I receive, You do not have the privilege to add/modify the configuration
Can you elaborate the first point with more details?
Please share some screenshots.
I also received the same issue after upgrading to FOS 17.5.4 MR-4-1.
Works fine before this upgrade.

Silly question, are you using the admin account or an admin account on the Sophos XG?
If so is it a on device user or an AD authenticated admin user?

I just called the service provider and said I wanted to change my device. It's time to say goodbye to Sophos. We can't even find answers to problems.
I just upgraded SFOS v17.5.5 MR5 and this issue is still there.
I hoped that the issue was fixed in the new firmware.
Same here, getting "you do not have the privilege to add/modify the configuration".
We got two XG Firewalls with updated firmware to (SFOS 17.5.5 MR-5). The SMS Gateway used to work fine and now it's not working anymore.
This bug need to be fixed urgently by Sophos. This firmware update has definitely caused this stop working.
