Modify Allowed Request Content-Type?

To get traffic to our web server to pass the Web Server Security, we had to skip rule 960010, which checks the content-type header of the Request against a list of allowed types.   The question is, is there a supported way to update this list?

Yes, I can find the file where tx.allowed_request_content_type is defined, but that's in "warranty voiding territory".    So is there somewhere in the GUI I've overlooked?

UTM version 9.510.

  • Interesting, Jed - which type would you add?  What does Sophos Support say about having them modify base.conf or will they give you permission to make the change?
