users cannot login to VPN

several users have repeatedly  problems with connecting/authenticating to VPN as if the password/credentials was incorrect --always the same message -- please kindly see screenshot 

the traffic light stays orange on connecting

could someone please tell, me where is the problem?

(I amusing LDAP authentication)
