Second LAN on RED Device

Hello,

we are going to deploy a ip-phone system on our network. We need a second network for the ip-phones in an office which is connected via red 50.

We also need a dhcp-relay in the new ip-phone network.

Is it possible to configure a ip helper-adress on the red?

Whats the best way?

Regards

  • Hallo berootale,

    1. Why do you need a second network?  Is it the same network as one in your UTM location?
    2. Do you have a VLAN switch behind the RED?
    3. Why do you need a DHCP relay?
    4. Why do you need an IP helper-address? (If I understand what you're asking for, the answer is that it's not possible.)

    Cheers - Bob
