IP Phone over Remote Access VPN Connection dropping

 Good Morning,

We have a SG330 which we also have setup for remote access for some users. When a few of them that have IP phones in thier laptops try to use it from home over the VPN, it just reboots itself over and over. I checked the firewall logs and I see this entry:

2018:01:04-08:09:08 fw-mansfield ulogd[1802]: id="2001" severity="info" sys="SecureNet" sub="packetfilter" name="Packet dropped" action="drop" fwrule="60001" initf="eth0" srcmac="00:60:b9:44:71:e7" dstmac="00:1a:8c:5f:d9:f4" srcip="192.168.20.120" dstip="192.168.20.250" proto="17" length="43" tos="0x00" prec="0xc0" ttl="64" srcport="50010" dstport="60257"

what am I missing to allow these IP phones to work?

Thanks!

Scott

  • Several questions, Scott:

    1. Did you change "VPN Pool (SSL)" to 192.168.20.0/24 or is that an access from inside the internal network?
    2. In the SSL Profile, did you select 'Automatic firewall rules'?
    3. Is there a NAT rule involved with this?

    Cheers - Bob
