How to prioritize the GotoMeeting, SkypeforBusineness and use the Leased Line ISP?

Can you help us configure the firewall so we can have our priority 1 and priority 2 apps/websites as the ONLY users of our leased line (10mbps)? Meaning, if our folks are using FB/Youtube, we they will be using only the DSL (50mbps) and will NOT take any bandwidth from our leased line?

Goal:

1. 3Mbps guarantee for GotoMeeting and Skypeforbusiness for priority 1

2. 4Mbps for 2nd priority, for Emails, FTP and VPN

3. Web Browsing / Steaming Media use the DSL PLDT not the Source Telecom

Current Setup:

Anthesis Network  - Sophos WIFI ( 32 concurrent users connected using WIFI)
LAN    - LAN network
DSL PLDT    - ISP DSL (50Mbps)
Source Telecoms   - ISP leased Line (10 Mbps)

Interface

Traffic Selectors for Upload and Download

Bandwidth Pool

Download Throttling

Multipath

  • Hi Michael and welcome to the UTM Community!

This is not a good place to state an overall goal and just ask, "Tell me everything I need to do to accomplish this."  There are issues with most of the configuration you've shown us.  QoS and Multipathing are not for the faint of heart!  It takes time to learn how to configure what you want to do.

My recommendation is that you get a good consultant in your country - it would be about an hour to understand where you want to go and do the necessary work.  Once that's done, the result will be easy to maintain and will be a good template for you to follow in the future.  If you think there might be improvements to what the consultant did, come back to this forum and ask questions about QoS.  Any questions related to Multipathing should be posted in the General Discussion forum.

    Cheers - Bob

  • Hi Bob,

actually we have a gold partner and they're the one who configured the Sophos Firewall to priority the GotoMeeting and configure to bind the GotoMeeting to Leased Line ISP. but this is not working.

we're continuously monitor the issue and report this to them but until now we are still facing this issue..

what we need basically is prioritize the GotoMeeting and other application works related.
