UTM not connecting to WAN(Comcast)

I have set up UTM 9.506-2 on Hyper V, WIN Server 2016.  I have set up the machine and can connect to the admin interface via internal LAN. However, External WAN connection on UTM will not pick up an IP address from the cable modem. The WIN server will pick up and IP addresses when IP V4 is enabled on the interface. I have reset the cable modem numerous times and searched the forums and attempted remedies with no success.

Hardware: Supermicro X10SDV-TLN4F
MAC spoofing is enabled on all interfaces.

External WAN config.:
  • Connected  to 1 Gigabit Ethernet NIC
  • Allow Management OS to share this NIC: Off
  • VLAN ID: off
  • Virtual Machine Que: off
  • IPsec offloading: off
  • SR-IOV: off
  • MAC address spoofing: ON
  • Dynamic IPv4: ON
  • Router Guard: off
  • Protected Network: ON
  • Port Mirroring: None
  • NIC  Teaming: off
Any insights are appreciated.

  • The fix is in, in addition to MAC address spoofing within Hyper V, the Virtual MAC address had match that of the hardware MAC.   The setting is located in Interfaces & Routing >Hardware.  Click the Edit button the Set Virtual MAC check box to reveal the field for Virtual MAC.
