DNS Problem

Internal redirection is not working properly.  Specifically, we cannot reach our webpage unless the public IP DNS addresses are manually inserted in Network Connections/Ethernet Properties/TCP IPv4 Properties, instead of Obtain DNS server address automatically.

However, if the DNS addresses are manually inserted, we cannot access the public IP address of our Filr server - it times out.  Filr is an application from Micro Focus/Novell which allows secure access to our files, and secure access by Guests to documents. However, if we hit that IP from the outside, it works fine.

In other words, we access our firm's website from our workstations, or our Filr application, but not both.  A Micro Focus tech spent hours remotely testing and analyzing; he stated it was an internal DNS problem and that we needed to contact Sophos, so here we are. We need both capabilities.
