slfow , jflow , firewall analyzer and monitoring tools

we have 6 locations 3 protected by cisco asa  3 by ASG.  Lately we have invested in products like firewall analyzer from manage engine and foglight NMS and these devices work flawless with the asa to give us detailed information of the goings and comings of users, attackers and general traffic usage.

because of these tools we were able to correlate an attack by a single attacker on 2 of our locations.

but now our astaro side is completely blind.  We cant access them in the same way and finding documentation on how is nonexistent.  so i ask what standard interface does astaro have beyond the basic snmp ( ram and cpu) that will allow us to get actionable information from all our ASGs and correlate that information across our enterprise.

Thank you.

  • Not sure what you're asking.  There's a lot of information in Reporting, with lots of detail in Accounting that is, esentially, Netflow data organized and presented to provide information.

Or, maybe you're asking about a feature giving access to netflow information that's planned for V9.0 next year - Reporting: monitor bandwidth via netflow/ipfix

Perhaps you could state your question in terms of the problem you want to solve instead of in terms of a solution that the rest of us might not have found need for?

    Cheers - Bob

  • We also have same requirement.

We need a simple userwise websites visited report for a particular period. There is no straight way of getting it.

WE have several SOphos devices XG series . And getting such reports is a pain. If there is a solution available we would be glad to take it.
