My quarantaine reports in Outlook Web Access aswell as in Salesforce Service Cloud seem both to have a template issue they are very very long, you need to scroll several pages until the end of an empty report is reached. Any clue on how to fix this?

This doesn't sound like any issue I remember here in over 11 years. What happens if you open the email in a different client - maybe just forward one to a Gmail account?
