WARN-129] Spam Filter cannot query database servers

Yesterday and today at the Many customers I received this message:

The spam filter daemon is unable to reach the database servers via HTTP. Please make sure that the device is able to send HTTP (TCP port 80) requests to the Internet. You may have to allow such traffic on upstream devices.

has this problem reappeared or is a sophos error?

We have not received any complaints about this notification or error. Are you still facing the issue? It can be a temporary issue while reaching the servers.

Hi

this problem has now disappeared..... i think it was an internal problem with ISP

Thanks for the update. If UTM 9 is not able to reach the RBL list either due to ISP or if the server does not respond, this can occur. Glad to know that the issue is resolved.
