Emails that contain password protected .zip attachments are corrupt after being released from quarantine.

Hi,

We are using UTM 9.505-4 and SMTP proxy. When someone receives an email that contains password protected .zip file it gets quarantined as it should by the rules.

But after the email is released from quarantine the attached file is corrupt.

Is this a well known bug that can be only solved by white listing the sender and allowing the emails through without being scanned or are there other solutions to this problem ?

Cannot speak to your problem, but I would move to 9.506-2 as quickly as possible.

The feedback in this forum was not kind to versions 9.500 through 9.505.

Nor do I recommend using anything between 9.507 and 9.509.
