UTM 120 network crash

Hi All,

Recently I experienced network blackout where whole my network was down. After troubleshooting I noticed that powering off firewall (UTM 120) and turning it on after 30 sec everything came back to normal.

I wonder if there is any log file where I can see what cause problems since this is happening every couple of weeks.

Thank you,

Denis

  • Hi Denis,

Start by having a look at the following logs for any indications:

kernel.log - information about the base system and the hardware(e.g. the interfaces)

system.log – most important logfile which provides information about the system

fallback.log – provides information about the running daemons which haven´t got their own logfiles in the Logging

    Thanks,
    Karlos
