Backup and Restore process

Hi,

 

I have 2 SG210 firewall, 1 is in production and 1 is a spare.

 

I have configured the spare with new network layout, vlans, rules etc and would like to apply it to the firewall in production.

 

Is this a simple case of backing up the spare firewall, and restoring it on the production one?

    Yes.  Before you start, I would definitely make a backup on your production UTM before continuing...

    Backup the configuration, download it to your PC, connect to the production UTM, upload the config backup to it and then restore.  You will be logged out of your WebAdmin session, so you will need to login again to check on the success of your efforts.
