I am also going to an APU..

I am also moving my home version of UTM from an old generic appliance box to the new APU2. APU2 is more powerful but no kbd or screen.

I am wondering whether there is anyway to install on the old box (profiting from kbd and screen), and then to move the newly installed SSD to the new box?

I guess this would be too easy? How hardware specific is the UTM install?

If not, I will have to go the blind route....

the newest ISOs now do support the serial console (only during installation) so you can install onto an APU2, no problems.

Hi,

I think about installing UTM on an APU.2C4 for home use. Is there a small how to achieve the installation in more detail? Never really used serial console...

I would recommend the installation with a USB DVD drive as the installation from a USB stick somehow never worked for me.
