Hardware Compatibility lists Tulip -- Correct?

The Astaro hardware compatibility list, dated this month or last, and shows several Tulip-based NICs as OK.

Is this correct? My understanding is that NICs that use the Tulip chip are not recommended for 2.0. Perhaps some are OK, and others are not?

Please clarify and update the documentation if necessary. Thanks.

    yes, some tulip NICs are ok, while others will not only fail to initialize but stop the whole kernel  [:(]

    since there are really TONS of cards using the tulip.o driver we don't have a chance to really compile a listing of cards compatible with the new driver.
