Root partition is filling up

Getting this email. Is there anything I can do from the WebAdmin page? Did the install years ago and have limited knowledge of UNIX.

Root partition is filling up - please check. Current usage: 99%

System Version : Sophos UTM 9.408-4

    Hello Philq,

    Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community

    Just to add to the answer of .

    Once you have gained Shell Access to the UTM.

    If you identify that the up2date is indeed taking the space, you might need to remove these with the following command (run this command from within /var/up2date/sys )

    # rm *

    However, if you want to upgrade the UTM to 9.7 I would recommend you to better re-image the device by following this KB

    If for some reason you are not planning to upgrade to 9.7 to avoid getting the partition filled up, please go to Management >> Up2date >> Configuration >> Firmware Download Interval = Manual.
