Home License: Upgrade path Sophos UTM 9 to UTM XG

Hello,

What is the proper upgrade path to the new XG appliance OS for home license users. Is there an upgrade, or do we just download the ISO, wipe our existing configuration and start from scratch? Is there a way to export settings from UTM 9 and import them into UTM XG? I did search around for this, but I must not have been using the proper search terms cause I couldn't find anything.

I imagine that most Home-use license holders will elect to NOT lose their UTM license. Sophos may want to allow one of each.

Any news? XG seems to be faster. In contradiction to the other posts I would like to migrate.

Hello,

it depends on wich features are you using.

I think you should thoroughly compare the features of XG and UTM to make a desicion.
