Reimage a XG450r2 with SG 9.509

Hi,

We want to reimage a XG450r2 with SG 9.509 (ssi-9.509-3.1.iso) with a usb key. This USB key works great with a SG310, but not this XG540r2.

mdadm: error opening /dev/md*: no such file or directory

Any idea?

Based on tbe feedback in this forum, I would recommend imsging with 9.506, not 9.509.

As to your primary question, I have no insight, but would suggest tryng multiple USB drives. Favor smaller ones as long as the contents fit. USB capacity has exploded faster than boot software can keep up.

To add to what Douglas advised above:

The supported install methods with the UTM/SG ISO is with the USB Smart Installer (contact your Sophos Partner/Reseller) or with a USB CD-ROM drive.
