R=dnslookup defer (-1): host lookup did not complete

Hallo,

seit ca. einem Tag befinden sich einige ausgehende E-Mails im SMTP-Spool im Status "wartend".
Der Versuch den Versand erneut durchzuführen scheitert.

Im Log ist hinter jeder Mail der Eintrag "R=dnslookup defer (-1): host lookup did not complete " zu sehen.

Andere Mails werden ohne Probleme verschickt.

Was kann das sein? Die Mail-Domains werden sauber aufgelöst.

    Hallo,

    (Sorry, my German-speaking brain isn't creating thoughts at the moment. [:(])

    In my experience, this is strictly a DNS issue. Either there's no such domain, the domain has no valid MX record or the domain's authoritative public name servers are unreachable.

    Hi Bob,

    ich denke auch, dass es ein externes DNS Problem war.
    Am nächsten Tag (14.11.2017) konnten die Mails zugestellt werden.

    Problem ist seitdem nicht mehr aufgetreten.
