Webfilter - Cloud dienste

Hi zusammen,

hat jemand eine Idee, wie man am besten cloud Dienste wie owncloud, nextcloud oder ähnliches sperren kann? In der Application Control kann ich Dropbox auswählen, funktioniert auch einwandfrei.

In den Logs werden Seiten wie cloud.x.y als uncategorized eingestuft, ich kann zwar diese Kategorie "uncategorized" verbieten, dies hat zur Folge, dass viele weitere Seiten auch geblockt werden.

Vielleicht hat ja jemand einen Tipp !:-)

    Hi Tom,

    du kannst unter Web Protection / Filtering Options / Websites neue Sitelisten erstellen. Dort kannst du die URLs eintragen und diese einer Kategorie zuordnen die du dann über den Webfilter sperren kannst.

    In addition to the approach suggested by mod, you could choose from the "File Transfer" choices in Application Control.

    Danke für die Vorschläge.

    habe heute "uncategorized" im Webfilter verboten, es hat keine halbe Stunde gedauert und wir bekamen sehr viele Anfragen bezüglich gefilterten Webseiten rein. Das umkategorisieren führt leider nicht zum Ziel.

     

    Bezüglich Applikation Conrol - habe tesweise "File Transfer" komplett geblockt. Leider kann ich immer noch diverse Clouddienste (owncloud / nextcloud) erreichen. Gibt es ggf. noch einen anderen Ansatz?

    Hi Tom,

    da hast Du den Auftrag falsch verstanden. Dass Du 'uncategorized' Seiten blocken sollst hat doch niemand gesagt, Du solltest bestimmten URLs, denen noch keine Kategorie (oder eine für Euch falsche) zugewiesen wurde eine andere Kategorie (die bei Euch geblockt ist, z.B. P2P/Filesharing) zuweisen.

    Another trick for you, Tom - "Uncategorized" exists in two different ways on the 'Categories' tab of Filter Actions:

    • "there is no category for this" - (a subcategory included in the 'Suspicious_and_Uncategorized' Category).
    • "no one has ever asked for or offered a category for this" - ('Uncategorized websites' at the bottom of the tab).

    And, another one - There is no Category that includes the subcategory 'Personal network storage' which is how the cloud services you mentioned are categorized.  I usually add a new Category like "MediaSoft Other" and select the following subcategories: Malicious downloads, Malicious sites, Anonymizers, Anonymizing utilities, Browser exploits, Extreme, Hacking/computer crime, Remote access, Spam URLs, Spyware/adware & Web ads.  You will want to add 'Personal network storage' to that list.  In that way, you will have fewer entries on the 'Websites' tab for uncategorized sites.
