Betriebssystem SOPHOS UTM 9

Hallo.

Eigentlich habe ich nur eine Frage zum Betriebssystem der SOPHOS SG135 (UTM 9).

Ich erstelle für unsere Kunden auch die IT-Dokumentation.
Dort kommt dann die Frage nach dem Betriebssystem der verwendeten Geräte.
Welches Betriebssystem kommt in der SG135 zum Einsatz?
Nennt sich das UTM 9 und ist damit ein selbst entwickeltes Betriebssystem?

Oder ist es ein abgewandeltes Linux? Wenn ja, um welches Linux handelt es sich?

Which operating system is used in the SG135?

Is it called UTM 9? Is it a self-developed operating system?

Or is it a modified Linux? If so, which Linux is it?

Nur eben aktuelleres SUSE. (3.12.74)

(Sorry, my German-speaking brain isn't creating thoughts at the moment. [:(])

Toni and I don't know how much you want to impart in your documentation. You also might want to mention that UTM Linux is "stripped down" to just the components needed. You might see warnings about vulnerabilities in the SUSE version in use now, but those vulnerabilities have already been addressed by Sophos' programmers, so the underlying Linux code itself is not identical to the listed SUSE version. This is easier to do than trying to make a newer version of SUSE safe and robust.
