Sophos SG135 VPN (SSL) sehr langsam . was tun?

Hallo,

ich habe eine Sophos SG135 Firewall und einen VPN-Tunnel (SSL). Obwohl auf beiden Seiten eine 50.000er DSL Leitung steht ist der Zugriff jedoch sehr langsam. Gibt es evtl. spezielle Einstellungen in der Firewall, die die VPN-Geschwindigkeit erhöhen?

    Hallo Frederik,

    (Sorry, my German-speaking brain isn't creating thoughts at the moment. [:(])

    Two suggestions.  First disable compression,  Second, change the Protocol from TCP to UDP.  Any better result?

    Die Daten, welche über die Verbindung gehen, werden komprimiert (gepackt), dies bedeutet Aufwand bzw. erzeugt Last welche möglicherweise auf Kosten der Geschwindigkeit gehen.

    Compression does just what it says - compresses the traffic before sending it through the tunnel.  Depending on what's transiting the tunnel, compression can often slow throughput.

    You didn't say how you're measuring Geschwindigkeit.

    was ist denn das beste Tool um die Geschwindigkeit zu messen?

    I prefer to time a download and upload of a file that you expect to take 20 to 30 seconds.  Since Snort (Intrusion Prevention) is a single-threaded process, it may take several simultaneous tests from separate clients to fill the pipe.
