Blocked from web UI!

I've just blocked myself from the web UI on my 9.502004 UTM.

All of my devices are still able to browse the web.

I was experimenting with Web Filtering, and somehow it knocked me off the web UI, and I can't get back in. When I try, the browser throws a 503 error. Chrome or IE, with no proxy settings.

Fortunately, SSH access to the UTM remains working. I'm logged in right now.

What can I do to regain access to the UI?

Have you tries rebooting the box - it could be that a service has crashed hence you cannot access the web UI.

Thanks, Tim. I'm hoping for suggestions for regaining access without rebooting the box. In the current state, if it came back up dysfunctional I wouldn't be able to get onto it to manage it. That would be ... unfortunate ;)

Do you not have a backup of the device?

You could try restarting the http service

/etc/rc.d/httpd restart

I have a nightly weekly config backup and a bi-weekly VM backup.

However, restarting the http service worked.

I wonder why it choked....
