Dropps off ACC and cant Log Into ASG

Ok. I have a client that is using a demo Astaro. I had a PIII out there and it wasn't powerful enough so I took it out and replaced it with PIV, 1Gb RAM, and 80Gb HD and it is running great. The performance is good and they seem happy with it. The only thing is that there seems to be some intermittent performance issue that I am not sure where to look to diagnose. In my ACC it will get the red lightning bolt telling me that it is offline. When I goto it manually both remotely or from inside the network it loads up the login screen but it times out trying to log in. It will not allow me to get in for a few hours then it will allow me and it seems fine. Or if I reboot it by killing the power and restarting it works then too.

Where do I need to look to find out what is causing this issue? Could the backup from the PIII be corrupt and be causing this issue?

Sounds like a hardware issue. Have you checked the MTU of the External interface? You should have them change the ethernet cable. Maybe turn off auto-negotiation and set the speed to 100mb half-duplex. These are ideas from BruceKConvergent that have helped several people here. I was thinking hardware too but it seems to happen more often at night when no one is there. They are on a fractional T1 and the old firewall seems to work fine except it was slow. So is it possible that I have something flooding the connection causing access to the firewall? Well that is strange because I can still work on the server remotely via RDP and Internet seems to work fine. I attached a screen caputer of the Network tab.

None of what you said would make me change my recommendation that you look at the items I mentioned.

Look at this screen capture. What are your thoughts about there being 51.2 MB transferred over and over again?

You have at least 13 clients with the same software package for which updates were automatically downloaded last night.

Ok I think I have figured out some of the issue. It does look like a hardware issue. For some reason the clock gets reset back from 6 to 36 hours. It works fine when it is set correctly but it will revert back to the wrong time after about 3day of running. Strange.
