pptp

When is GRE/Protocol 47 going to be added to the services definitions? Is there any way for me to use pptp without the definition other than using the any rule?

no there is no other way than using protocol 'Any'.

Can you please explain why you can not specify the rule for PPTP ONLY and have to use "any" to make the outbound PPTP work?

How then you can lock down the outbound rules?

make a up2date to 2.019 (where just i looked ) and choose the service "GRE" between client and server - ready

Even if you allow 47 (GRE) and 1723 (PPTP) for outbound PPTP you can not establish the connection. As soon as you allow "ANY" it works.

Any ideas?

under network-services there is no way to define
GRE protocol.
Can anybody help me?

The Astaro Team is working on it. Dont forget astaro just began Beta 3 version which the whole Beta 3 tree includes all of the needed functions like GRE, PPPoE, and many others
