On our internal endpoints we use another product due to its inclusion of application whitelisting and rely on the UTM for webfiltering on the gateway.
Now we are rolling out a significant number of laptops and need a proper solution in place for this - I would like to emulate what we have internally so I was considering using the same endpoint product alongside the Sophos EndPoint agent with only webfiltering enabled.
Is this a viable approach?
The alternative of running Sophos EndPoint fully enabled with an alternative application whitelisting solution is far more expensive, and frankly, I am not willing to rely on the Sophos EndPoint as ransomware protection is being largely offloaded onto Intercept X - which again, altogether, gets expensive.
