Possibly bricked AP100 after trying out SFOS

Guys,

I tried out SFOS on my SG135 with an AP100 which I use for testing purposes. I tried for a long time to get the wireless working but with no joy.  As I had several other problems as well I reverted to my UTM backup as it is a test unit.  Only issue is now the AP100 is stuck in disconnected mode, when I plug it in it gets the correct IP, the wireless log contains the request from the device, but the device is then not registering.  Is there any way to reset it to work with the UTM or am I going to have to send it back to Sophos?  What a pane.

  • The KB article about re-flashing APs and REDs was updated after the 100s came out, but it says nothing about them.  Let us know if Sophos tells you they need to do a warranty replacement or if the article just needed updating.

  • Have you tried deleting it from the UTM? Does it then appear in the pending AP list?
