WiFi Cards - Are they now supported ?

Quick question - I have been using Sophos Home UTM for a while.

Just about to move over to dedicated hardware - Can I now use internal WiFi cards ? Does UTM now support these or only the sophos wifi products are still supported ?

    Only the exact WiFi chipset that is included in de SG series is supported. So you can't use custom hardware for built-in WiFi...

    Thanks for your reply. I thought this was the case. This is a shame they do not offer this - but support for them would me big I understand. Just a big negative for me now. Thanks again for reply - I have been running ddwrt for wifi from a Lan port but wanted to move away from this

    Any Info on which Cards are in those SG series? would be nice to try that out.

    Which cards/chipsets are built-in the SG w series?

    This issue was addressed at some point not long after the wireless SGs were released.  I believe you will find that people were successful using the smae card used in the SG.
